Our course content is licensed to you for personal learning, not sold. Copying or sharing it is infringement; the work you create while learning stays yours.

1. What we own

All videos, recordings, slides, notes, code samples, assessments, question banks, software, designs, the LEGAL EVA name and logo, and the selection and arrangement of content on the Platform belong to UNI FinTech Pvt Ltd or its licensors (including instructors). They are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and other laws.

2. Your licence

You may access and view the content of courses you are enrolled in, for your own non-commercial learning, during your access period. You may make personal notes. Any other use needs our written permission.

3. Piracy and content protection

3.1 You must not download (outside in-app offline mode), record, screen-capture, copy, upload to any website, Telegram or social channel, sell, share or stream any course content, or help anyone else do so.

3.2 Our videos are protected by digital rights management and carry visible and invisible watermarks that identify the account they were streamed to. Removing or circumventing these is prohibited.

3.3 Infringement can lead to suspension or termination of your account and to civil and criminal action under sections 51, 63, 65A and 65B of the Copyright Act, 1957.

4. Your work

4.1 Projects, code, assignments and portfolios you create remain yours, even when they use our starter templates (the templates remain ours).

4.2 We will feature your work in marketing only with your separate written consent, which you can withdraw.

4.3 If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

5. Open-source and third-party material

Some code and datasets in courses are open-source or third-party material, used under their own licences. Those licence terms apply to that material.

6. Our trade marks

You may share your certificate and say you completed a COMPASS course through LEGAL EVA. You may not use our name or logo to suggest we endorse you, your product or your training business.

7. Reporting infringement (notice-and-takedown)

If you believe content on the Platform, including content uploaded by a learner or instructor, infringes your copyright or trade mark, send a written notice to info@legaleva.com with:

  • your name, address, email and phone, and your authority if acting for the owner;
  • a description of the work you own and evidence of ownership;
  • the exact URL or location of the infringing content;
  • why you believe it infringes, and that the use is not licensed;
  • where the work is subject to a pending lawsuit, the details; and
  • a statement that the information is true, with your physical or electronic signature.

We will review valid notices and act within 36 hours, including disabling access while the matter is examined, as provided in the Copyright Rules, 2013. We inform the person who uploaded the content.

8. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, write to info@legaleva.com with the details and your reasons. We will share the counter-notice with the complainant and may restore the content as the law permits.

9. Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
