Legal Eva certificates confirm that you completed a course and met its assessment standard. They are issued by UNI FinTech Private Ltd. and can be verified online by anyone you share them with.
1. Types of certificate
| Certificate | Earned when you | Issued |
|---|---|---|
| Certificate of Completion | Complete 100% of lessons and score at least 50% in graded assessments and required projects | Within 7 days of meeting the criteria |
| Certificate of Merit | Meet the completion criteria with an overall score of at least 90% | Within 7 days |
| Certificate of Participation | Attend a webinar, workshop or bootcamp for at least 75% of its duration | Within 7 days |
Each course page states which certificate it offers and its exact criteria.
2. What our certificates are, and are not
2.1 Our certificates are certificates of completion issued by a private company. They are not degrees, diplomas or qualifications recognised by the UGC, AICTE, NCVET or any university or government body.
2.2 Where a course is offered with a partner institution or carries an external accreditation, the course page names the partner and the approval, and the certificate shows the partner’s name only under a written agreement with that partner.
3. Name on the certificate
The certificate shows the name on your account. Check it before completing the course. We correct spelling errors free of charge if you ask within 30 days of issue; later changes require proof of identity.
4. Verification
4.1 Every certificate has a unique ID and QR code. Anyone can verify it at www.legaleva.com/verify.
4.2 The verification page shows only your name, the course, the date of issue and the status (valid or revoked). You can choose to make it private from Dashboard → Certificates.
5. Digital badges and sharing
You may share your certificate or digital badge on LinkedIn, in your resume and with employers. Do not alter it or describe it as a degree or diploma.
6. Revocation
We may revoke a certificate if it was obtained through cheating, impersonation, plagiarism or fraud, or if the payment for the course was reversed through a chargeback without a valid reason. We will tell you the reason and give you 15 days to respond before deciding. A revoked certificate shows as “revoked” on the verification page.
7. Records
We keep certificate records for 10 years so they can be verified, even after your account is closed. You can download your certificates from your dashboard at any time while your account is active.
