LEGAL EVA aims to be usable by everyone, including learners with disabilities, in keeping with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Our target standard is WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the Indian standard IS 17802.
1. What we provide
- Captions on all course videos and transcripts for audio lessons.
- Full keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
- Compatibility with common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- Adjustable playback speed, text size and a high-contrast mode.
- Text alternatives for images and diagrams.
- Accessible PDF notes and downloadable materials.
- On request: extra time on timed assessments, alternative assessment formats and materials in other accessible formats, at no extra charge.
2. Known limitations
Some course videos may have auto-generated captions under manual review; third-party coding sandboxes may not fully support screen readers. We will fix them within 30 days once reported to us via email
3. Third-party content
Some tools we embed are provided by third parties. We choose accessible tools where possible and offer alternatives where they fall short.
4. Ask for help or report a barrier
Contact our accessibility lead at info@legaleva.com or +91-22-6834 0545. Tell us the page or course and the problem. We respond within 2 working days and provide a workaround or alternative format within 5 working days.
5. Escalation
If you are not satisfied, contact the Grievance Officer as set out in the Grievance Redressal Policy.
