These terms apply every time you buy a course, live cohort, subscription, bundle or related service on www.legaleva.com from UNI FinTech Private Limited. They form part of the Terms of Use.
1. What we tell you before you buy
Each course page states: the syllabus; format (self-paced, live or hybrid); duration and expected weekly effort; access period; language; prerequisites; instructors; batch start date and schedule (for live courses); assessments; type of certificate; technical requirements; total price including GST; and a summary of refund eligibility. The course page as it stood when you paid forms part of your contract. You can view it any time from Dashboard → Orders.
2. When the contract is formed
2.1 Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm successful payment by email or in-app message.
2.2 We may decline an order before confirmation, for example if the price displayed was an obvious error or a batch is full. If we decline after you have paid, we refund the full amount within 7 working days.
3. Prices
3.1 Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise. The checkout shows the breakdown before you pay.
3.2 If a manifest pricing error occurs, we will tell you and you may pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will never charge more than the amount you approved.
4. Access period
4.1 Self-paced courses: access for course duration from the date of purchase subject to a maximum of 6 months, unless the course page states otherwise.
4.2 “Lifetime access”, where offered, means access for as long as we offer that course on the Platform. If we retire the course, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and either migrate you to its replacement or let you download the materials we are licensed to provide.
4.3 Live cohorts: access starts on enrolment; live classes run on the published schedule; recordings are available within 72 of each session and remain available during the course tenure only i.e. upto the date the certificate is awarded
5. Live cohort schedule changes
5.1 If we reschedule a session, we will give at least 24 notice except in emergencies, and provide the recording.
5.2 If we cancel or postpone a whole batch by more than 30 days, you may choose a transfer to another batch or a full refund.
5.3 You may transfer once, free of charge, to a later batch of the same course within 7 days of your batch starting, subject to seat availability.
6. Your responsibilities
Meet the technical requirements on the course page; attend or watch sessions; submit your own work; follow the Community Guidelines; and keep your login private.
7. Career services
7.1 Where a course includes career services (for example resume review, mock interviews, interview preparation or introductions to hiring partners), the course page lists exactly what is included and for how long.
7.2 Career services are support, not a promise of a job, salary or interview. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers.
7.3 We do not offer a job-guarantee
8. Subscriptions
8.1 Subscriptions (if any) renew automatically only if you choose auto-renewal at checkout.
8.2 For card and UPI auto-pay we use an e-mandate. You will receive a pre-debit notification before each charge, as required by the Reserve Bank of India.
8.3 Free trials (if any): we will remind you at least 3 days before a trial converts to a paid plan. Trial conversion never happens without your prior consent at sign-up.
8.4 You can cancel auto-renewal anytime from Dashboard → Subscription in no more than two clicks. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Third-party exam vouchers and materials
Where a course includes a third-party certification exam voucher, software licence or physical kit, the course page says so. These are governed by the third party’s terms. Once a voucher or licence is issued to you, its value is not refundable.
10. Non-transferability
Enrolments are personal and nontransferable to another person under any circumstances.
11. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation by you, cancellation by us, and refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Corporate and sponsored enrolments
If your employer or another sponsor paid for your enrolment, the sponsor’s agreement with us also applies. We may share your enrolment status, progress and completion with the sponsor, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
13. Everything else
Liability, disputes, governing law and other general terms are in the Terms of Use.
